This September, Hollywood Suite is premiering two more episodes of our encyclopedic film series Cinema A to Z with a focus on Sports movies and the best Parties on film. Once you catch the episodes you can watch along with these five films detailed in the series:

This adaptation of the classic Bret Easton Ellis adopts a lot of the novel’s unconventional storytelling choices in its depicting College partying and debauchery, but it’s the way the film now equally acts as a time capsule for early 00s style and a “who’s who” of young stars at the time that makes it a party worth attending.

There are plenty of baseball films but this is the only one that MLB created a special event to specifically celebrate. Few sports movies have so deeply affected a generation of fans as this Kevin Costner-lead look at not only the sport of baseball, but how sports can connect families in the most unusual way.

Drugs and partying are the main teen crimes the original undercover cops of the 21 Jump Street TV show investigated, so it’s not surprising this reboot/parody series starring Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill provides some of the wildest, silliest and most violent parties captured in the last couple of decades.

Undeniably a great hockey movie, this is also one of the great ‘underdog team’ tales that explores a town where hockey is all that really matters. Built up from in-depth research by screenwriter Nancy Dowd, there’s an undeniable reality to the locker room talk here that made sports film history.

Who said parties have to be fun? While many wag their tongues about Stanley Kubrick was trying to out certain New York financiers with this secret sex club thriller, it’s actually based on a nearly 100 year old Austrian novella which proves the more weird parties change, the more they stay the same.
