HDNET MOVIES Launches on Philo Streaming Service with Fresh Slate of Blockbusters & More



Los Angeles – September 8, 2021 Anthem Sports & Entertainment’s HDNET MOVIES announced today that the channel has joined popular television streaming platform Philo, bringing HDNET MOVIES’ unprecedented library of blockbusters, classics, and more to Philo’s new Movies & More package, for just $3 per month, in addition to a monthly Philo subscription. Philo viewers can enjoy HDNET MOVIES’ exclusive premium programming beginning today.

The channel’s September offerings include Vince Vaughn and Don Johnson in the gritty underworld thriller Dragged Across Concrete; Martin Scorsese’s Oscar®-winning boxing opus Raging Bull, starring Robert De Niro; action icon Sylvester Stallone in Cobra and Cliffhanger; a heartfelt “Remembering 9/11” tribute event, featuring The Great New Wonderful and Seal Team Six: The Raid On Osama Bin Laden; beloved baseball comedies Bull Durham and Major League; and a “The A-List” five-pack starring Kevin Costner in The Untouchables, No Way Out, and Silverado, among others.

Then, in October, HDNET MOVIES gets into the spirit of the Halloween season with a “Wicked Wednesdays” block featuring Dracula: Dead & Loving It, Dead Ringers, Mother’s Day, and more, airing every week all month long. Other October highlights include Arnold Schwarzenegger in his signature role as The Terminator; Angelina Jolie as the ultimate video game vixen in Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life; John Travolta in the 1981 Brian De Palma murder mystery Blow Out; Dan Aykroyd and Chris Farley in the out-of-this-world comedy favorite Coneheads, and more.
