Los Angeles (February 2, 2022) – GameTV, a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment, Inc., announced today that season 3 of the hit competition series The Masked Singer UK Edition is returning exclusively to GameTV. The global phenomenon debuted on GameTV with the premiere of its acclaimed second season in July 2021, marking the first time ever that the British edition of the franchise had aired in Canada.
The Masked Singer UK’s third season goes overseas and undercover with eight all-new episodes, as returning judges such as chart-topping pop star Rita Ora, multi-talented actress Davina McCall, pop culture aficionado Jonathan Ross, and funnyman Mo Gilligan, attempt to identify 12 more celebrities in disguise. The upcoming season boasts an array of surreal and inspired costume designs ranging from a roaring lionfish and adorable bagpipes to a delectable donut-man and even a robo-bunny.
In the series’ sophomore season, GameTV viewers were treated to unforgettable performances from a roster of world-class talent including season two winner Joss Stone, R&B standout Ne-Yo, and pop music pioneer Mel B, delivering unique renditions of modern classics such as “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” “You’ve Got A Friend In Me,” “Uptown Funk,” “Dance Monkey,” “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “Wrecking Ball,” among many others.
The Masked Singer UK is produced by Bandicoot TV and distributed by Abacus Media and based on the original South Korean sensation The King Of Mask Singer, created by MBC.
