TORONTO (January 15, 2026) – Fight Network, a subsidiary of Anthem Sports & Entertainment, Inc. and a division of Anthem Sports Group, announced today an agreement with Team Arm Wrestling Federation (TAWF)—becoming the exclusive broadcaster of the organization’s 2026 season. The partnership covers all TAWF matches, kicking off with a two-hour preseason bout pitting the Vancouver Wildcats against the Calgary Rangers on Saturday, March 28 at 8P ET. Two additional preseason events will follow on May 30 and August 15. Fight Network’s regular season coverage begins November 14, 2026 and runs through February 20, 2027.
Founded in 2025, the Team Arm Wrestling Federation is the world’s first professional, team-based league—combining the raw intensity of arm wrestling with a fast-paced format packed with high-stakes drama and captivating storylines. TAFW is comprised of eight teams across the United States and Canada, competing in an intense 14-week schedule. Matches last four rounds and are divided by weight class, with points awarded for pins, flash pins, and strategic bonuses.
Each match features two games, starting with a women’s three-vs-three preliminary round, followed by a men’s eight-vs-eight main event. TAFW broadcasts are specifically designed with the audience in mind, carefully crafting the ultimate viewing experience to optimize fan engagement through clear scoring, nonstop action, and a seasonal structure similar to other sports leagues.
"The Team Arm Wrestling Federation is truly revolutionary, making the sport more accessible than ever before with a dynamic presentation that delivers a unique blend of athleticism and entertainment," said Chad Midgley, VP of Content for Anthem Sports Group. "Fight Network was proud to air TAWF’s launch showcase event last October, earning a warm reception from our audience who were enthralled by the Federation’s high-octane matchups. That was just a taste of what TAWF has to offer, and we look forward to bringing our audience even more arm wrestling action in 2026 with our exclusive coverage of its inaugural season.”
