Anthem’s Game+ Network Launches on Videotron, GameTV Deal Extended

TORONTO – Anthem Sports & Entertainment announced today that its Game+ network has launched on Videotron, the largest cable operator in the province of Quebec, and has also extended its carriage deal with GameTV, which will now become available in high-definition (HD).

Game+ launched an HD feed on Nov. 13 on Videotron platforms with a freeview in effect until Feb. 3, 2020. GameTV will also be in a freeview during the same period. Some conditions may apply.

Customers can order either Game+ or GameTV and they will get both networks at no additional charge. In addition to availability on Videotron’s cable systems, subscribers can also access Game+ and GameTV content on smartphones, tablets and computers.

Game+ is the home for fantasy sports gaming news and information, and also features wagering information programming, Esports, high stakes poker, live action sports, wrestling and other fast-paced, action-adventure driven shows and lifestyle programming.

Meanwhile, GameTV specializes in game-related programming such as game shows, competition-based shows, reality series, movies and sports.

GameTV’s programming lineup includes back-to-back blockbuster movies every night at 9:00 p.m. ET, as well as game shows such as Card Sharks and Press Your Luck, while Game+ features live coverage of Swiss Hockey League games, plus Drone Champions League, FIBA 3-on-3 basketball, World Showdown of Esports, The League, Kenny vs. Spenny and live daily programs A Numbers Game and Cheddar ESports, covering analytics, sports betting and the world of Esports.
